Docked: The Latest Vehicle Simulation Game Inspired by The Wire's Frank Sobotka

Saber Interactive's new game Docked allows players to manage a struggling port in a way reminiscent of The Wire's Frank Sobotka.

The upcoming game, Docked, will have you step into the shoes of a longshoreman tasked with managing a struggling port.

Inspired by the character Frank Sobotka from The Wire, players will face challenges related not only to cargo management but also to the recent devastation caused by a hurricane.

Players will need to unload shipping containers and manage various dock operations, navigating the complexities of logistics as they strive to expand and improve their port’s capabilities. You’ll operate large vehicles such as flatbed trucks and cranes, while also overseeing the port’s financial health by securing contracts and upgrading equipment.

<Docked’s approach emphasizes both vehicle handling and broader management strategies, distinguishing it from earlier straightforward simulations. Though a release date has not been set, it is expected to arrive sometime next year, promising to engage players and reflect themes from lifestyle dramas like The Wire.
