Adjustments to Battlefield 6 Settings Could Enhance Gameplay Experience
A simple adjustment to the sensitivity settings in Battlefield 6 may significantly improve players' experiences, aligning them more closely with previous installments.
A new piece of Battlefield 6 advice could help the game feel more like previous iterations in the series. Some players have expressed that a specific change could make Battlefield 6 feel different, but thankfully, there’s an easy solution.
Battlefield 6 Sensitivity Settings
The open beta for Battlefield 6 is currently active until August 17, after which fans will have to wait a couple of months for the full release. In the meantime, players have openly shared their criticism regarding the game, much of which revolves around the issue of smaller map sizes. Although not all feedback can be implemented before the launch, it’s important for Battlefield Studios to really grasp the community’s thoughts on particular game aspects.
You Should Probably Double Your Battlefield 6 Sensitivity
According to a report by TheGamer, Battlefield 6’s principal game designer Florian Le Bihan states that if players set their in-game sensitivity based on previous Battlefield titles, they might not have the same sensation while playing the new game. Fortunately, there’s a straightforward fix. Players can simply double the sensitivity they used in previous games to achieve a similar gameplay feel. For example, “if the slider was set to 5%, set it to 10% instead.”
This settings modification “is specifically for mouse aiming,” Le Bihan adds that he will need to evaluate controller settings separately.
Le Bihan also highlighted that the Uniform Soldier Aiming option is activated by default with a particular coefficient, so seasoned players might need to fine-tune their settings for a closer match to past titles.
As the Battlefield 6 open beta comes close to its end, fans of the franchise may have to explore other options for a while. This has already begun, with Battlefield 4 experiencing an increase in player numbers as fans search for that distinctive Battlefield feel. Anticipation for Battlefield 6 continues to rise, especially after the mixed reviews of Battlefield 2042 back in 2021.
