The Ukrainian esports team, Passion UA, is set to undergo its second major restructuring since the beginning of the year due to a series of unsatisfactory performance results. The organization announced that they will part ways with their current roster, including notable players such as Volodymyr “Woro2k” Veletniuk and Oleksii “Topa” Topchiienko, who have been officially released from the team.
Additionally, players Vladyslav “Kvem” Korol, Nikita “jackasmo” Skyba, and Sergiy “DemQQ” Demchenko will be placed on the bench as the organization aims to rebuild its roster.
Head Coach Tiaan “T.c” Coertzen and Assistant Coach Luca “Munstur” Ioanițiu will remain to lead this reconstruction effort, as confirmed.
The organization stated, “This is not the end of Passion UA’s journey; it is merely the start of a new chapter.”
Previously, Passion UA reformed their lineup following the acquisition of Rodion “fear” Smyk and Dmytro “jambo” Semera earlier this year from fnatic. The team has faced challenges and inconsistent results, now reaching the 48th position on the Global Valve Standings after a promising start earlier in the year.
