
Overwatch 2 has officially started the trial weekend for Wuyang, allowing players to utilize this new support hero for a duration of five days. The trial is available from August 14 at 10 AM PT through August 19 at 10 AM PT. Players can experience Wuyang’s capabilities in Quick Play during this limited time event.
Wuyang, known as “Aqua” during his initial reveal at the Overwatch 2 Spotlight event, is a unique character joining the ranks in Season 18 of this popular hero shooter. Although participants can play with Wuyang, progress on his badges or stats will not be recorded during this trial, nor can he be selected for Competitive Play.
“Most hero trials in Overwatch 2’s history have lasted for four days. However, players will have a substantial five days to explore Wuyang, totaling 120 hours of gameplay to test his abilities.”

The trial has witnessed extensive enthusiasm among the community as they anticipate the character’s official arrival in Season 18, set to launch on August 26. Fans also look forward to new features in the upcoming season, which include a Competitive rank reset, a significant rework to Perks, and the intriguing new Payload Race Stadium game mode. Information regarding these updates is expected to be unveiled at Gamescom between August 20-24.
