Battlefield 6's Recent Beta Weekend Encounters Rough Patches

The open beta for Battlefield 6 has launched with a surge in player numbers but faced various issues that irritate fans.

The second open beta weekend for Battlefield 6 is now live, attracting a significant influx of players within its initial hour. However, numerous fans are reporting various problems with this eagerly awaited second open beta. Players have encountered lengthy matchmaking delays, issues with the party system, and frustrating error messages.

Despite the player surge, the recent beta has already surpassed 274,000 concurrent players on Steam, but not everyone seems to be having a smooth experience. Some users have raised concerns on Twitter about persistent matchmaking delays and error notifications that disrupt gameplay. Furthermore, the party system and critical settings such as DLSS/DLAA are reportedly causing troubles.

Anticipating these issues is not surprising, considering the substantial number of players—nearly 300,000—attempting to connect on a single platform. While DICE is aware of the complications, players have pointed out various glitches, including an unusual requirement for some to uninstall Valorant to access the game during the first beta weekend.
