Ex-PlayStation Executive Endorses New Steam Indie Game

Shuhei Yoshida, previously the president of SIE Worldwide Studios, praises a fresh indie game on Steam, calling it clever and worth exploring.

Former PlayStation executive, Shuhei Yoshida, has expressed his enthusiasm for a new indie game titled Ooo on Steam. Yoshida, who previously had a hand in discussing and promoting indie titles, described Ooo as a cunning puzzle-action game worth trying out.

The game blends retro platforming with Metroidvania elements, making its debut on August 7, 2025. Yoshida highlighted that it employs explosives innovatively, urging fans to explore its demo available on Steam. He emphasized that while traditional platforming games focus on skills, Ooo leans toward creativity in problem-solving.

Currently, the game is available at a discount until August 14, bringing its price down to around $8 USD, before reverting to about $10 USD. Developers of Ooo, known for their earlier work on ElecHead, have created a game packed with hidden features and routes, inviting players to engage their ingenuity.
