Konami Delays Launch of Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater Multiplayer Mode to Fall 2025

The multiplayer feature, Fox Hunt, for Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater won't be available until the fall of 2025.

The multiplayer mode, Fox Hunt, for Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater has been delayed by Konami, with the scheduled release pushed to Fall 2025. Fans eager to dive into the new gameplay features that honor traditional stealth mechanics will have to wait a little longer.

In a recent social media announcement, Konami confirmed that, while the game launches on August 28, the Fox Hunt mode, focusing on strategic gameplay elements like Camouflage and Survival, will not debut until later in the year.

“Online battle mode ‘FOX HUNT’ is confirmed for release in Fall 2025! Enjoy strategies of hide-and-seek incorporating the core gameplay elements from the main game. Stay tuned for updates!”

The announcement indicates that this multiplayer mode aims to offer a unique experience while relying on the nostalgic elements of earlier gameplay styles found in Metal Gear Online.
