The team HEROIC released a statement today regarding roster adjustments for their upcoming matches, notably the position of Gleb “gr1ks” Gazin.
Alimzhan “Alkaren” Bitimbai has been acquired on loan from Spirit Academy, allowing him the chance to prove his skills on stage. This loan includes an option for HEROIC to make the transfer permanent after a trial period.
“Alkaren’s loan comes with an option to make the move permanent.”
HEROIC indicated that this decision follows a realization that their previous arrangements were not working as intended after only two events.
During his brief time, gr1ks struggled to find his form, evident in his performance ratings of 0.95 and 0.79 in recent tournaments, thus prompting the change.
The team management acknowledged the need for adjustments and expressed hope that the new acquisition will yield better results. Alkaren previously garnered positive feedback during matches with Spirit Academy, including high ratings at lower-tier competitions.
HEROIC is set to debut Alkaren at the Esports World Cup, while they plan to continue with Rasmus “Scr0b” Poulsen until Alkaren is eligible to compete once the roster lock concludes.
