PlayStation 5 players will have the opportunity to earn an exclusive cosmetic skin by participating in the upcoming Battlefield 6 Open Beta, set to start on August 9. Following the recent multiplayer reveal, many players have been queueing up for the Open Beta ahead of its launch. Despite some early criticism related to bugs and cheating issues in the beta, fans are optimistic that EA can address these concerns before the game’s full release.

Battlefield 6 Open Beta PS5 Rewards

Players logging into the PS5 will notice a pop-up notification indicating the availability of an exclusive Open Beta skin named “Advance Party.” This PlayStation exclusive skin will be available when Battlefield 6 launches in October. The skin features a soldier clad primarily in PlayStation-themed color schemes, including black and shades of gray with blue accents. However, it’s unclear if this skin is specific to the Assault class or usable across all four classes in Battlefield 6.

Players also have additional rewards to unlock during the beta weekends, but they will have to meet specific milestones to earn these items, such as achieving certain levels or completing various objectives.

EA has assured that Battlefield 6 will focus on creating grounded and authentic cosmetics, moving away from collaborations often seen in other shooter franchises like Fortnite.
