Pokemon GO Unveils Exciting New Adventure Effect for Eternatus
Discover the newly revealed Adventure Effect for Eternatus in Pokemon GO, set to enhance gameplay during the upcoming GO Fest 2025.
Pokemon GO has announced a fresh Adventure Effect for Eternatus, expected to roll out shortly. This legendary creature from Generation 8 will be a central feature in Pokemon GO during August as part of the concluding festivities for the GO Fest 2025.
Eternatus does not evolve but comes in two distinctive forms. The standard version is widely recognized, while its alternate form, Eternamax, is known from Pokemon Sword and Shield. Besides its striking skeletal appearance, Eternatus is notable for spawning the Dynamax phenomenon, earning the title of the tallest Pokemon in existence, and soon it will join Pokemon GO facilitated by new enhancements to increase its effectiveness.
Dynamax Cannon Adventure Effect for Eternatus
The game will introduce the Dynamax Cannon Adventure Effect alongside Eternatus’s world debut. Capturing Eternatus during the GO Pass: Max Finale event will grant it the Charged Attack called Dynamax Cannon, which can be activated using 5,000 Stardust and 30 Eternatus Candy. When active, it will amplify your Pokemon’s Max Moves for 10 minutes: locked moves will scale from level 1 to level 4.
To obtain Eternatus, trainers must finish tasks associated with the GO Pass: Max Finale, kicking off from August 18 at 10 AM to August 24 at 9 PM local time. Everyone will initially acquire a basic pass, but can upgrade to a deluxe pass for enhanced rewards.
In addition to the GO Pass and Eternatus’s introduction, players can anticipate a range of other events during the GO Fest 2025 festivities, such as the Dark Skies event featuring Zacian and Zamazenta raids, alongside exclusive encounters with Dynamax Pokemon and new Timed Research challenges.
