Older Graphics Cards Are Still Selling Strongly on Amazon
Recent sales figures from Amazon reveal that many shoppers are opting for outdated graphics cards, with notable sales trends.
Obtaining accurate sales data for graphics cards is often challenging, with only a few retailers like Mindfactory providing such insights. A user on X called TechEpiphany consistently shares Amazon GPU sales figures and has recently posted July’s data.
Leading the sales chart is the GeForce RTX 5070, boasting just over 6,000 units sold, followed by the RTX 5070 Ti with approximately 3,000. The RTX 3060 captures the third spot with 2,900 sales.
Corrected 🔥 GPU Retail Sales Amazon US July ‘25 ℹ️ Nvidia: 24,950 units sold (74.15% market share) $13,959,526.00 revenue (76.22% revenue share) $559.50 ASP ℹ️ AMD: 7,650 units sold (22.73% market share) $4,144,554.50 revenue (22.63% revenue share) $541.77 ASP ℹ️ Intel… TechEpiphany on Twitter
AMD’s RX 9060 XT and RX 9070 XT have also seen respectable sales of 2,850 and 2,250, respectively, with Team Red’s GPUs accounting for roughly 23% of total unit sales.
Interestingly, the Intel Arc A380 emerges as their top-selling model even with low overall sales figures. The Arc B580 only recorded 100 sales, which reflects a lack of consumer interest despite its decent performance in some games.
However, it’s surprising to see that nearly 100 buyers chose to pick up the GeForce GT210, a dated model, and even more, opted for other ancient models like the GT610 and GT710, which is concerning given their performance standards.
In conclusion, despite concerns over the reliability of TechEpiphany’s data, the $3.8 million in sales for the RTX 5090 demonstrates the ongoing demand for high-end GPUs. Failing to record precise sales figures might lead to misleading market assumptions.
