Battlefield 6 Beta Delivers Record Viewership on Twitch

The beta for Battlefield 6 is proving highly popular, capturing the interest of over 820,000 viewers on Twitch.

The Battlefield 6 beta is proving to be incredibly popular on Twitch, with over 820,000 users tuning in to watch their favorite streamers play this eagerly awaited EA title. The buzz may be partly driven by Twitch Drops, yet it is also a reflection of the franchise’s return to form after the missteps of Battlefield 2042. Fans are likely eager to determine whether the developers have succeeded in keeping their promises.

Battlefield 6 Beta Attracts Over 820,000 Twitch Viewers

Currently, upwards of 820,000 viewers are engaged in watching streamers play Battlefield 6 on Twitch, surpassing the combined viewer count of categories like Counter-Strike, Fortnite, Valorant, League of Legends, and Just Chatting. Viewers are not just there for the gameplay; those without beta access can obtain a code by watching for as little as 30 minutes. Plus, incentives like weapon and character skins are offered for watching longer. While the beta doesn’t open until August 9, the queue for the Battlefield 6 open beta continues to swell, with many servers reaching maximum capacity.

Developer efforts to incorporate player feedback have already begun, including plans to adjust the sniper scope glint in Battlefield 6 for the game’s launch scheduled for October 10.
