Microsoft Flight Simulator Set to Feature Dinosaurs in New Jurassic World Expansion

The upcoming Jurassic World: Archipelago expansion for Microsoft Flight Simulator allows players to explore dinosaur-infested islands.

Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 is gearing up for an exciting new addition with the Jurassic World: Archipelago expansion. This add-on aims to enhance the gaming experience by letting players navigate the famed dinosaur islands of Isla Nublar and Isla Sorna.

Set off from Costa Rica, players can explore new landscapes including the upgraded Juan Santamaria Airport and Herradura Bay Marina. The archipelago features six airstrips and twelve helipads, promising adventurous landings amidst dinosaur territory.

Confirmed dinosaurs include the apatosaurus, brachiosaurus, and even the infamous velociraptor, alongside several others. Players can expect additional structured activities like guided tour photography and aviation challenges. The developers, Orbx, have hinted at a release window sometime in late August or early September. For the latest updates, check their FAQ page.
