
Razer Unveils First AI Hub to Enhance Gaming Technology
Razer, a prominent brand in the gaming industry, has announced the establishment of its inaugural AI hub in Singapore, marking a significant step in its commitment to AI technology within gaming. The company plans to create 150 new AI engineering roles to support this initiative.
Li-Meng Lee, Razer’s Chief Strategy Officer, stated, “Our goal is to empower game developers with tools that deliver more immersive, intelligent, and efficient gaming experiences at scale.” This move comes as the gaming sector is projected to grow substantially, with estimates suggesting a potential market value of nearly $400 billion by 2033.
The AI hub in Singapore is intended to serve as a foundational element for Razer’s future AI development, paving the way for additional hubs in Europe and the United States. This initiative is seen as a direct response to the rising prominence of AI in game development, with expectations that AI gaming technologies could generate significant revenue in the near future.
