Microsoft Launches Quirky Windows XP-Themed Crocs for Anniversary Celebration

Microsoft's latest footwear launch features Crocs inspired by the iconic Windows XP wallpaper.

Microsoft has introduced special edition Crocs themed after Windows XP for its anniversary. These Crocs feature the beloved Bliss wallpaper design with a mix of fluffy clouds, blue skies, and green grass patterns that mimic the iconic look of the XP operating system.

Additionally, each pair includes six Microsoft-themed Jibbitz charms, which feature a mouse pointer, the MSN logo, the Internet Explorer icon, and even the famous Clippy assistant from Office.

For those eager to own these nostalgia-driven Crocs, they are currently available for pre-order exclusively for Microsoft employees at a price of $80. A Bliss-printed drawstring backpack is also included for storage or to enhance the XP-themed experience.

Will these quirky shoes be available to the general public in the future? As of now, an official worldwide launch is anticipated, although no specific date has been announced. The Bliss wallpaper, captured by photographer Charles O’Rear in 1996, has become a significant part of tech history, showcasing the beauty of Sonoma County, California, which is now primarily vineyard territory.
