Behaviour Interactive Revamps Kill Switch in Dead by Daylight
Behaviour Interactive is set to enhance its Kill Switch system in Dead by Daylight after community feedback regarding its unclear requirements.
Behaviour Interactive has announced an overhaul of the Kill Switch system in Dead by Daylight following player dissatisfaction and ambiguous guidelines regarding the feature’s activation criteria. The updates were prompted by the community’s call for the temporary removal of the Streetwise perk due to an unresolved exploit. Initially, Behaviour indicated that the issue didn’t meet the Kill Switch threshold, leading to backlash from the player base.
“We’ve heard your concerns and are determined to enhance our approach to the Kill Switch system,” Behaviour stated. They have committed to a redesign aimed at being more responsive to community needs and will ensure better communication regarding its activation in future active developments. This announcement follows a previous peak in Dead by Daylight player counts, which saw over 106,000 users online concurrently during the Five Nights at Freddy’s update.
With the upcoming changes, Behaviour plans to activate the Kill Switch for the Streetwise perk, alongside Blood Rush and the Last Stand perk for Michonne, as part of their ongoing commitment to addressing player feedback and improving the gaming experience.
