Marvel Rivals 3.5 Brings a Small but Needed Change to End-of-Match Experience
Marvel Rivals 3.5 updates the end-of-match overview, addressing player feedback by allowing instant queuing for the next match.
After feedback accusing Marvel Rivals’ end-of-match screens of being simplistic, NetEase has implemented a user interface upgrade with the Season 3.0 launch. This change allows players to track their level, battle pass progress, and other metrics without needing to navigate back to the main menu.
However, this new feature led to a series of screens after matches, causing frustration among players as they had to click through them before starting another match. This minor inconvenience was noticeable, especially after numerous games.
In the recent Season 3.5 update, a welcomed change allows players to skip the end-of-match overview completely, improving the overall experience. This change wasn’t highlighted in the patch notes, leading to curiosity about its omission.
Players can now press and hold the spacebar to go directly to the hero lineup to start the next match. Although small, this adjustment has significantly improved convenience, easing the transition between games. Coupled with improvements to the battle pass and challenge systems in Season 3.0, it addresses many previous headaches.
Despite these improvements, there are still issues with the hero selection screen. While stylish, its layout has become impractical as new characters are added every month, requiring more scrolling to find them.
NetEase acknowledges various UI issues and is reportedly considering changes to improve user experience, particularly in the hero selection scene. Players hope for a practical yet visually appealing solution soon.
