Battlefield 6 Redefines Class Mechanisms with Deploy Beacons

The latest updates in Battlefield 6 shift the deployment of beacons from the Recon class to the Assault class, enhancing team play and strategy.

In a bold shift for Battlefield 6, the Deploy Beacon will now be part of the Assault class instead of the Recon class. This decision addresses gameplay concerns where solo snipers used beacons to camp in hard-to-reach areas.

According to a recent tweet from the Battlefield Comms account:

“We’ve renamed the Spawn Beacon to Deploy Beacon, and it’s now part of the Assault class gadget pool, instead of Recon.”

This move emphasizes teamwork, allowing Assault players to better facilitate flanking maneuvers, turning deployments into a collective effort rather than singular advantages.

Now, the Deploy Beacon will also have a limited number of uses per squad, self-destructing if a player respawns at its location, thus maintaining tactical balance. Recon players will receive new training options, enhancing their utility in battle without the beacons. The game’s evolution aims to create a more coordinated and strategic battlefield experience.
