Charming Zombie Gardening Game Greenheart Necromancer: A Blend of Styles

Explore the unique blend of gardening and necromancy in the upcoming Greenheart Necromancer game, as it combines elements of witchcore and whimsigoth.

Who wouldn’t want a zombie balcony garden that attracts ghost bees?

Normal games feature players inheriting gardens or farms from relatives, but Greenheart Necromancer flips that expectation. Instead of being a skilled gardener, you wield necromancy to revive and enhance your plants.

This indie game from Silverstring Media allows players to attract ghost bees that produce mystical honey for sale, while spells can be cast to help plants flourish without constant attention.

“We wanted to explore an idle game that really respects players’ time and attention,” said Lucas Johnson, Silverstring’s studio director. “You can set it aside and just enjoy the gothy plants vibing to the music, knowing you can always bring them back!”

Claris Cyarron, the creative director, describes the decor style as a mix of witchcore, whimsigoth, and grandma chic.

Greenheart Necromancer is featured in Steam’s Idler Fest until February 10, offering a wishlist option on Steam.
