Baldur's Gate 3 Celebrates Unique Player Achievements

Larian Studios honors the dedicated community of Baldur's Gate 3 by showcasing some of the game's rarest achievements.

Larian Studios is celebrating its enthusiastic Baldur’s Gate 3 players by highlighting some of their more unusual achievements within the game. Even two years post-launch, Baldur’s Gate 3 draws tens of thousands of players every day, cementing its status as a top choice in the RPG genre.

Special Achievements and Choices

In a recent Twitter discussion, Larian Studios showcased some of the game’s most obscure achievements and shared statistics about player accomplishments. Notably, 1.1 million players have completed the game in Tactician Mode, while under 4% have defeated Gortash in Wyrm’s Rock without triggering traps. Remarkably, only 1.82% of Bard players earned 100 gold through musical performances. An astonishing 2.30% managed to multiclass through every class in one playthrough without aid from Withers.

Almost half a million players finished Baldur’s Gate 3 in Honour Mode, which prohibits saving progress and terminates a game session if all party members fall in battle. Surprisingly, just over 4,600 players accomplished this feat using only a Level 1 character.

Larian Studios also revealed that Wyll, Gale, and Shadowheart are the most respecced companions within the game. Additionally, since mod support launched last year, over 8,500 mods have been uploaded with 265 downloads.

Despite some fans expressing disappointment over the studio’s decision to forgo Baldur’s Gate 4, Neil Newbon, the voice behind Astarion, endorsed the move, asserting, “The team made absolutely the right call” to embark on new projects. For now, a large number of players eagerly continue their adventures in Baldur’s Gate 3.
