Overwatch 2 Introduces Enhanced Hero Statistics Tracking

Blizzard reveals new features for tracking hero statistics in Overwatch 2, including a dedicated website and an advanced in-game interface.

Blizzard recently unveiled two new features for Overwatch 2: Hero Stats, a website providing gameplay metrics, and the Advanced Info Panel, an enhanced interface in the game that details hero capabilities. These functionalities will be accessible to all players shortly; the Advanced Info Panel is set to arrive in Overwatch 2 Season 18.

Hero Stats will serve as an official Blizzard webpage, integrating with Battle.net to offer insights on win rates and pick rates, and more in-depth metrics which the Overwatch team utilizes for balance tweaks. Expectations are players can navigate this information by role, game type, map, region, and even input method.

Overwatch 2 Features Overview

  • Hero Stats: External website showcasing game metrics, sortable by various categories.
  • Advanced Info Panel: In-game feature displaying detailed insights on hero skills, launching in Season 18.

There is no specified launch date for the Hero Stats website yet, while the Advanced Info Panel is anticipated to debut on August 26. As part of updates for Overwatch 2, Blizzard has also announced an ultra-advanced Mythic skin for Sojourn and will soon reveal more details about Wuyang, a new support hero coming this season.
