EA Confirms No Release for Battlefield 6 on Nintendo Switch 2

EA announces that Battlefield 6 will not be available on the Nintendo Switch 2, focusing on the game's release on more powerful platforms.

EA recently confirmed that Battlefield 6 will not see a release on the Nintendo Switch 2. Instead, the game is set to launch exclusively on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.

Despite significant hardware advancements in the Switch 2, EA aims to deliver the best gaming experience possible, which they believe can only be achieved on the most powerful platforms available.

Prior to the recent multiplayer reveal, EA made headlines by announcing that Battlefield 6 would not support last-gen consoles such as PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. This move surprised many, especially given that other major franchises, including Call of Duty, continue to release games on older systems.

While fans of the series might be disappointed with the news, EA is focusing on optimizing the game for high-end platforms to ensure an exceptional gaming experience.
