New Legendary Raid Event for Pokemon GO Announced

Pokemon GO has announced an exciting new Ultra Unlock Origin Raid Day featuring Dialga and Palkia.

(Pokemon GO) has unveiled a new “Ultra Unlock” event scheduled for early August, showcasing a special Raid Day focused on Origin Forme Dialga and Palkia. This immensely popular mobile game provides various methods for players to capture Pokemon beyond merely exploring the wild. Players can engage with unique Pokemon through Research missions, challenge Raids at different game Gyms, and hatch Pokemon from eggs. Now, an exciting new Raid event is approaching where players can take on powerful and unique Pokemon.

Pokemon GO’s “Ultra Unlock” events offer players a unique reason to participate in special in-game activities, promising access to enhanced rewards. The 2025 Pokemon GO Fest, which took place in late June, unlocked various rewards contingent on the completion of the game’s Global Challenges. Attendees successfully unlocked different future events, and with the ongoing “Hisui Celebration” and “Steel and Scales” events, the final reward from this year’s Pokemon GO Fest is fast approaching.

The “Ultra Unlock Origin Raid Day” takes place on August 10 from 11:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. local time, featuring both Origin Forme Dialga and Palkia available in Raids for a limited time. Players can expect special attacks; Dialga will utilize Roar of Time, while Palkia will have Spacial Rend. In addition, participants will receive several benefits, such as bonus Raid Passes from spinning Gym Photo Discs and an increase in the Remote Raid limit.
