Bungie's New Armor for Destiny 2 Disabled After Making Players Invisible

A newly released armor set in Destiny 2 has been disabled after it caused players to become invisible during gameplay, raising concerns over current quality control at Bungie.

In a recent update, Bungie released the Blackletter armor ornament set for Warlocks. This new set, designed to give a unique look resembling a stained glass window, became disabled shortly after its launch. Players equipped with this armor reported becoming completely invisible to others in the game, a major flaw that prompted immediate action from the developers.

“We are investigating an issue with the Blackletter armor ornaments, and have temporarily disabled these ornaments until this issue can be resolved.”

The set is available in the Eververse Store for 1,500 silver, approximately $15. Bungie’s recent history of bugs and issues, such as this, raises questions about their operational stability and the control measures in place.

This incident underscores ongoing player concerns about the quality of updates and content being rolled out by Bungie, especially in light of the recent mixed reviews for the Edge of Fate expansion.
