Diablo 4 Introduces Surprise Loot Event
Diablo 4 brings back the March of the Goblins event for a limited time, allowing players to hunt for treasure goblins and earn rare loot.
Diablo 4 has officially reactivated the March of the Goblins event, providing players a full week to pursue numerous Treasure Goblins in order to earn additional loot. This event runs until August 5, rewarding avid players with special items like a Resplendent Spark for defeating enough of these elusive goblins.
Originally introduced to honor the one-year anniversary of Diablo 4 in June 2024, this event vastly boosted Treasure Goblin spawn rates. The revamped March of the Goblins in March 2025 introduced new types of Treasure Goblins and a Goblin Statue in Kyovashad that offers rewards to players who defeat a significant number of these greedy creatures.
Event Schedule for Season 9
- July 29 at 10 AM PT to August 5 at 10 AM PT
Despite the excitement, there’s a notable hiccup this time around; players are facing issues with the Goblin Statue not appearing in Kyovashad, hindering their ability to initiate the event, track progress, or claim rewards. Blizzard is aware and is actively working to fix this, promising that the statue will return shortly, with hopes of extending the event if necessary.
Fans of Diablo 4 are eager for this occurrence, especially since past renditions have been well-received for their straightforward design and a wide array of rewards. As the game enters the latter half of Season 9, there’s anticipation about potential surprise events in the upcoming months.
