Developers Landfall and Aggro Crab have rolled out a new patch for their popular co-op climbing game Peak, which addresses a critical fall damage bug. Players who fell from lower ledges will now experience significantly reduced damage. The developers bluntly noted in their update message, “Nope. Let us cook,” indicating they are focusing on refining the game after recent content updates and the game’s unexpected success.
Not long after its release, Peak has seen a slew of new features, including modding support, new gameplay elements, and even a beta branch for future content testing without disrupting the main game. The recent patch aims to enhance performance and remedy issues caused by a previous bug where players experienced excessive fall damage from minor elevations.
Additionally, the update has temporarily disabled the new napberry plant, which caused performance issues for some players. As always, the developers inquire for player feedback on these changes, aiming to continuously improve gaming experience.
With every patch, Peak’s gaming experience gets more enjoyable while maintaining its original charm.
