Madden NFL 26 Announces Members of the Elite 99 Club

EA Sports unveils the seven NFL players achieving the top rating in Madden NFL 26, marking their place in the game's prestigious 99 Club.

On July 28, EA Sports announced that seven NFL stars have been officially inducted into the “99 Club” of Madden NFL 26, a distinction reserved for players achieving a 99 rating in this popular sports game. Notably, alongside the cover athlete Saquon Barkley, other new club members include standout talents such as Josh Allen from the Bills and Justin Jefferson of the Vikings.

EA Sports previously disclosed enhancements to the Superstar Mode in Madden NFL 26, introducing three significant features: Career Chapters that segment a player’s career into easily digestible parts, Inner Circle to foster team relationships, and Game Day Beats introducing unique gameplay challenges. Superstar Mode also enables players to import a custom player from EA Sports College Football 26 or create a new athlete to kickstart their football journey.

Weeks prior to the game launch, EA Sports celebrated the seven highest-rated athletes in Madden NFL 26 through a brief announcement video confirming the inclusion of Saquon Barkley, highlighting his playmaking prowess as a key factor for his top rating. His teammate Lane Johnson enters the 99 Club as well, recognized for his defensive prowess against aggressive plays. Justin Jefferson achieves this honor for the third consecutive time in his career, following a solid performance starting with a 98 rating in Madden NFL 25.

Who is in the 99 Club for Madden NFL 26?

  • Saquon Barkley, RB, Philadelphia Eagles
  • Lane Johnson, RT, Philadelphia Eagles
  • Ja’Marr Chase, WR, Cincinnati Bengals
  • Justin Jefferson, WR, Minnesota Vikings
  • Lamar Jackson, QB, Baltimore Ravens

This year, Myles Garrett uniquely represents the defensive line in the esteemed 99 Club. Meanwhile, Lamar Jackson rises from 98 to a 99 rating, whereas Josh Allen jumps from 92 to a remarkable 99 reflecting impressive performances in the preceding season.

With Madden NFL 26 set to launch on August 14 across all major platforms, EA Sports will soon unveil more player ratings.
