Set to revitalize the 1999 survival horror classic Dino Crisis, TeamKill Media has confirmed the release date of their new game, Code Violet, for November 14. Planned exclusively for the PlayStation 5, this title combines third-person shooting action with a chilling dinosaur narrative steeped in a dystopian world.

Fans have long clamored for a remake of the original Dino Crisis by Capcom, which did receive a PC remaster earlier this year. With Code Violet, TeamKill Media aspires to capture the essence of nostalgia while delivering a complete fresh gaming experience featuring menacing prehistoric creatures.

The game invites players back into the terrifying atmosphere reminiscent of classic survival horror, with Code Violet arriving as a PlayStation-only release, aiming to engage Dino Crisis fans with an entirely new adventure.

Code Violet takes players to the 25th century, where a global disaster has rendered Earth uninhabitable, forcing survivors to relocate to Trappist 1-E. As the Aion colony grapples with a population crisis brought on by infertility, they resort to abducting women from the past through an illicit time-travel mechanism to use them as surrogates. The player, as Violet Sinclair, awakens in an Aion Bioengineering Complex filled with brutal dinosaurs and must contend with both these dangers and the colony’s dark hidden agendas.

The gameplay demands strategic resource management with limited inventory, compelling decisions regarding weapons and survival items, and leverages a modernized third-person perspective for visceral melee and ranged combat against the relentless dinosaurs. Enhanced graphics, dynamic audio effects, and intricate puzzles promise to envelop players in an exhilarating and harrowing prehistoric experience.
