Daniel 'djL' Narancic Appointed as 500's New Head Coach
The Swedish coach returns to the limelight as he takes over the Bulgarian-majority team, 500.
Daniel ‘djL’ Narancic has been appointed as the new head coach for 500. This move marks the Swedish coach’s return to a team as he steps into the role, working alongside compatriot Hampus “hampus” Poser, who recently joined the roster from Metizport as the team’s in-game leader.
Previously, djL was in charge of TALON, which he led until March when the organization disbanded the CS:GO division. His tenure included a notable 5th-6th place finish at the Shanghai Major’s Asia RMR.
As djL joins 500, he takes over from Kaloyan “POP0V” Popov, who is transitioning into an assistant coach position. Hampus reunites with djL after having played under him during their time at Ninjas in Pyjamas from 2022 to 2023, where they formed a formidable duo. They also briefly played together for Red Reserve in 2017.
With djL now on board, 500 is poised for significant changes, having recently parted ways with player Teodor “SPELLAN” Nikolov and Blagoi “oxygeN” Dimitrov. This adjustment leaves them with one remaining position to fill as they reshape to tackle upcoming challenges in the competitive landscape.
