Upcoming Zombies Map Revealed for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6
A sneak peek at the new Zombies map for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 part of Season 5 has been shared, as players currently enjoy Season 4.
With Season 5 quickly approaching, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 has teased a new Zombies map arriving as part of the latest season. Players are currently engaged with Season 4, which introduced collaborations such as Ballerina from the John Wick universe, an extensive Beavis and Butt-Head event, and the introduction of Grief mode in Zombies.
The launch of Black Ops 6 late last year marked the return of round-based zombies, a feature fans have awaited since Black Ops Cold War in 2020. This latest installment offered two Zombies maps at launch: the Liberty Falls map, set in a suburban town, and Terminus, a cliffside prison map reminiscent of the classic Black Ops 2 map, Mob of the Dead. Subsequent seasons saw the addition of three more maps to Black Ops 6’s extensive Zombies suite.
As Season 4 did not add a new Zombies map, Black Ops 6 fans are set to receive a fresh one with Season 5. Treyarch shared a nine-second teaser on Twitter, captioned “It all comes down to this,” hinting that this could be Black Ops 6’s final Zombies map. The teaser, shot through a retro-style VHS effect, suggests the setting might be the Janus Project research facility, identifiable by the logo seen on the lobby floor and the mention of “Janus Security.”
Project Janus is a significant aspect of the Zombies storyline that players have been discovering throughout the game. The opportunity to access the facility during Season 5 as potentially the final Zombies chapter is thrilling for fans.
A deeper look at the new Janus Project map will likely be revealed as the season launch date approaches.
