New Features for Minecraft Players Now Available for Testing

Minecraft players can try out new features focused on organization and design in the Bedrock preview.

Minecraft has rolled out exciting new features for players eager to test them immediately in the Bedrock preview and beta. These updates, which aim to enhance organization, creativity in decoration, and redstone contraptions, illustrate the game’s ongoing evolution.

New features are available through preview builds, encouraging players to experiment and provide valuable feedback that informs future game development. For example, players can now try out the Copper Golem Statue and the Shelf Block. The former transforms Copper Golems into immobile statues after an oxidization process, while the latter displays items visibly, allowing quicker item retrieval than traditional chests.

Currently, these features are exclusive to Bedrock, but developers are planning to introduce them to Java in the future, while inviting players to report any bugs or suggestions they may encounter with the new features.
