Leading VTuber Exits Agency Amid Charity Fund Controversy

A popular VTuber, Ironmouse, leaves VShojo after alleging the agency withheld over $500,000 meant for charity, prompting a wave of support from the community.

Ironmouse, a leading VTuber and a prominent face in the streaming community, has recently exited VShojo, claiming the agency withheld a donation of $515,000 intended for charity along with other personal funds owed to her. In her video announcement, she expressed, “This entire situation has broken me,” highlighting her deep disappointment and distress.

During her record-breaking 30-day subathon last year, she raised significant funds for the Immune Deficiency Foundation. However, due to the way the donations were collected, VShojo was responsible for the charity’s donation.

Following Ironmouse’s announcement, multiple VShojo members, including Kson and Projekt Melody, have expressed solidarity with her decision to leave the agency, reinforcing the growing discontent within the community regarding VShojo’s handling of its talents.

As a response to the controversy, Ironmouse has initiated a Tiltify campaign for the Immune Deficiency Foundation, which has remarkably raised over $539,000 in just 24 hours, showcasing the overwhelming support from her fans and the VTuber community.
