With the eagerly awaited Season 5 update approaching, Treyarch Studios has announced a new Double XP event for both Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone. While it remains unclear whether this event will feature double XP or quadruple XP for players and weapons, it is likely to also include double Battle Pass XP and an enhanced Gobblegum earn rate in Zombies.

Though Treyarch has yet to disclose the exact start date for Season 5, players can expect it around August 7, given the franchise’s typical update timeline. Activision has started to promote this major content update, which will also involve a collaboration with the horror classic I Know What You Did Last Summer, introducing an operator skin inspired by its iconic fisherman character. Specific details regarding the crossover are still to be revealed.
