The Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel card crafting system is undergoing a significant update due to the latest banlist modifications, aimed at closing loopholes associated with card dismantling. Players will now face restrictions that prevent them from obtaining full Crafting Points when disassembling newly created cards. As one of the most popular trading card games from Konami, Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel allows various avenues for players to acquire cards through gameplay and pack purchases.
This update, scheduled for July 25, introduces the following changes related to the dismantling process:
- Cards generated after the banlist announcement will not qualify for the Dismantle Bonus.
- Players dismantling cards will have cards eligible for the Dismantle Bonus taken first if both eligible and ineligible cards are present.
- Cards acquired from packs post-banlist update will also not qualify for additional crafting points.
These adjustments are intended to stop exploitative practices previously utilized by players to maximize their Crafting Points without any attached risk. By making it harder to dismantle newly banned cards for maximum benefits, it streamlines the competitive balance within the game.
As the Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel community prepares for this shift, they can expect new strategies and deck configurations emerging in response to these crafting changes.
