Creative Proposal to Enhance Water Tracks in Mario Kart World

A fan suggests an exciting modification to the water routes in Mario Kart World, adding Gooper Blooper as an in-game hazard.

One Mario Kart World fan presented a captivating idea to enhance the game’s water routes by incorporating Gooper Blooper as a hazard. This suggestion has gained traction on social media, inspiring others to propose additional improvements for Mario Kart World.

Just like its predecessors, MK World is filled with various challenges along its tracks. Players must skillfully navigate around obstacles such as Chain Chomps, Hammer Brothers, and Bullet Bill launchers to maintain their lead.

The Reddit user Beaks7777777 initiated the Gooper Blooper suggestion, arguing that it aligns with the game’s lore. Although they mistakenly referred to the character as Big Blooper, which is a different entity in the Mario universe.

Additional Fan Suggestions

The idea sparked conversations on multiple subreddits, with some fans suggesting the classic Blooper be added to Mario Kart World’s roster, which many consider sparse. Notably, fans have expressed dissatisfaction over the absence of Diddy Kong and the prevalence of generic characters in the lineup.

As for the possibility of the Gooper Blooper becoming a part of the game, it appears unlikely at this moment. Should Nintendo decide to include this iconic character, it would probably emerge in DLC tracks. Modifying existing tracks with new hazards post-release would be a groundbreaking move from Nintendo.

Nintendo has not indicated any plans for downloadable content for Mario Kart World. However, the lack of immediate content arrangements doesn’t eliminate the chance for future updates. This theory is backed by past instances, like Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, which received its Booster Course Pass five years after its debut. For now, it’s clear that despite roster complaints, Mario Kart World is performing well financially, surpassing 1 million copies sold shortly after its release.
