The tactical FPS game Ready or Not has officially surpassed one million copies sold on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. This remarkable achievement occurred just days after the game’s highly anticipated console launch on July 15.

Since its debut on PC in December 2023, Ready or Not has maintained a significant player presence, consistently attracting thousands daily on Steam. Following its initial success, developer Void Interactive released two expansions the following year, enhancing player engagement.

Recently, Ready or Not was launched on consoles, but this involved some adjustments to in-game content across all platforms, leading to some controversy among players. Despite the criticism regarding these changes, the console launch has seen impressive sales and engagement numbers.

Julio Rodriguez, CEO of Void Interactive, shared that the game hit one million sales in approximately 3.6 days, a stark contrast to the 36 days it took for the PC version to achieve the same milestone. Proud of this accomplishment, Rodriguez stated it was a significant moment for the entire team while also mentioning their ongoing efforts to improve player experience and address any issues.

Ready or Not continues to gain momentum, not just on consoles but in the PC community as well. The game recently recorded over 31,000 concurrent players, its highest count since launch, despite ongoing negative reviews regarding certain content aspects. The latest update introduces new gameplay elements, missions, and optimizations, all aiming to enhance user experience.
