Creative Assembly has announced significant siege reworks in Total War: Warhammer 3 and is calling for player feedback during an upcoming beta test.

Creative Assembly has confirmed reworking sieges in Total War: Warhammer 3 and is actively seeking feedback from players to enhance the experience. Following the upcoming beta testing phase, players will have the opportunity to share their thoughts and suggestions on the new siege mechanics.

Total War: Warhammer 3, released on February 17, 2022, has been continuously updated and supported, accumulating a substantial player base. The enhancements have included multiple content expansions and almost 100 different factions from 24 playable races. The developers, known for their willingness to adapt based on player input, aim to implement significant changes where identified by the community.

In a recent blog post, details of the Siege Rework Beta were unveiled. Scheduled to begin on July 24 and run until August 7 on Steam, participants will be able to test the altered siege mechanics and provide the developers with their impressions and suggestions.

Steve Coleman, Senior Community Manager at Creative Assembly, noted that the beta’s purpose is to refine the siege experience based on player feedback. Players are invited to share their thoughts and ideas to ensure that the changes enhance gameplay satisfaction.

Milcho Vasilev, the lead on the battle team, outlined several planned fixes including the removal of pocket ladders and rebalancing of siege equipment, among other modifications. More specifics will follow in future updates and a live stream scheduled for July 17.

With the player-centric approach being emphasized, the ‘wish list’ of potential enhancements will also be released soon, detailing additional features such as new siege equipment options and further upgrades to game mechanics.
