Nvidia’s Anticipated Arm Chip Launch Might Be Delayed Until 2026
Nvidia's highly awaited Arm-based processor may not debut as early as expected, with delays now pushing the potential launch to 2026.
Nvidia’s long-anticipated Arm chip is generating significant buzz, as eager hardware enthusiasts await its release. Originally expected sooner, reports suggest delays could mean the launch won’t happen until 2026.
Charlie Demerjian from SemiAccurate cited multiple sources, indicating that Nvidia’s recent setbacks are substantial. Earlier hopes for a late 2025 announcement at the Computex event now appear overly optimistic. While benchmarks hinted at readiness, Nvidia’s project has encountered hurdles.
Nvidia aims to produce customized Arm chips for laptops based on a modified version of the DGX Spark supercomputer architecture. However, these chips will utilize Arm’s architecture but not exclusively Nvidia’s designs.
In the meantime, the gaming community remains hopeful, as a high-performance Arm chip could enhance Windows gaming capabilities. This excitement continues despite concerns over compatibility issues with current Windows on Arm setups.
