Nvidia’s CEO Jensen Huang recently addressed issues regarding the apprehensions about the Chinese military potentially utilizing US technology. During an interview with CNN’s Fareed Zakaria, Huang stated:
“They don’t need Nvidia’s chips, certainly, or American tech stacks, in order to build their military.”
Huang emphasized that:
“The Chinese military, like the American military, will not seek each other’s technology out to be built on top of it. They simply can’t rely on it.”
He also pointed out that:
“There’s plenty of computing capacity in China already.”
With concerns over AI technology and exports, Huang aims to reinforce the notion that American tech remains pivotal yet cautions against any over-reliance from foreign powers like China.
