Two Iconic Puzzle Platformers Set to be Removed from GOG Soon

Renowned puzzle platformers 'Limbo' and 'Inside' will soon be unavailable on GOG, affecting fans of the genre.

The iconic games Limbo and Inside are set to be removed from GOG on July 17. This means fans will lose access to multiple critically acclaimed puzzle platformers all at once.

Developed by the indie studio Playdead, Limbo and Inside were released in 2010 and 2016, respectively. Both games offer a distinctive atmosphere characterized by minimalist storytelling coupled with horror elements, all while employing a muted color scheme to evoke feelings of isolation and tension. Their omission from GOG is undoubtedly a disappointment for many gamers.

Inside

While the reasons for their removal have not been publicly detailed, it’s common for games to be delisted due to issues such as expiring licenses or shifts in publishing rights.

In anticipation of this change, Inside has been discounted by 90%, available for just $1.99, marking its lowest price ever. Limbo, however, remains at its regular price of $9.99.

For those who wish to continue enjoying these titles, they will still be available for purchase on other platforms like Steam and the Epic Games Store.
