Originally launched in 2023, Dave the Diver quickly gained a loyal fanbase due to its unique combination of underwater exploration and restaurant management gameplay.

What to Expect

The collaboration was confirmed through a YouTube trailer and an official blog post, which stated that Dave and his companions will find themselves in MapleStory after being sucked through a whirlpool. They will set up a new branch of their sushi restaurant while diving for fish, integrating with the game’s existing mechanics.

Players can look forward to engaging with exclusive gameplay features and mini-games during this event, with familiar characters from MapleStory appearing as NPCs.

Alongside this crossover, the update introduces the Ride or Die event, featuring a boss challenge where players can earn exclusive rewards.
