Recent Confusion in Pokemon TCG Pocket

Some players of Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket have recently discovered that the Genetic Apex booster packs are still available for opening—a fact that has only come to their attention days after the launch of the last expansion pack. This has led to widespread criticism of the game’s user interface, which many believe contributes to the confusion.

The Pokemon TCG Pocket was updated with the Space-Time Smackdown set on January 29. However, players had assumed the Genetic Apex packs were no longer accessible due to the UI’s new design which limits visible packs on the home screen. Players can still access these boosters by selecting the “Select other booster packs” option in the settings.

Interestingly, a Reddit user named JesperTV proposed a new layout for the UI that might alleviate some of this confusion. In their design, they suggested a carousel menu allowing players to scroll through all available packs instead of having a few displayed.
