Roblox's Gardening Game Enhances Event Teams to Address Player Concerns

Grow a Garden responds to player feedback by creating dedicated teams for future events.

Grow a Garden, a highly popular title on Roblox, has actively listened to players’ feedback regarding its recent updates. In a recent communication via their Discord server, developer Jandel acknowledged that many players deemed the last updates as ‘rushed and lacking inspiration,’ leading to numerous requests to reintroduce older features such as the Hungry Plant or Bee event.

To enhance event quality, they are expanding their team and establishing two specialized event teams, enabling them to devote more than a week to each event and work concurrently on multiple projects.

Jandel expressed that “we hope having two teams working on different events gives us more time to polish and create things that are unique and more time to work on cool new features.” Given the love for past updates, optimism surrounds the potential for future events to exceed the recent ones, much like the much-cherished Prehistoric update, which introduced dinosaurs roaming the player’s gardens.
