Farming Simulator 25 Gets a Fishing Expansion: What You Need to Know

Farming Simulator 25 will introduce the Highlands Fishing expansion this fall, allowing players to grow their own fish on the farm.

Farming Simulator 25 is finally getting a long-awaited fishing expansion titled Highlands Fishing. This expansion will allow you to not only catch fish but also grow them yourself on your virtual farm when it launches this fall.

Excited to hear about the new addition? Here’s what players can expect:

  1. Aquaculture: You’ll be able to cultivate fish in large tanks on a new map inspired by Scotland.
  2. Fishing methods: Players can fish using a rod and reel for a leisurely experience or opt for a boat to simulate a commercial fishing operation.
  3. Additional features: Alongside fish, there will be highland cattle and, yes, onions have also made the cut.

The expansion is set to be released in November and is priced at $30, with a preorder option available for $25. This move highlights how popular the combination of farming and fishing has become in video games, where planting crops often pairs with relaxing fishing activities.

Keep tuned for more updates regarding this expansion!
