CoreWeave Unveils New AI Supercomputers with Nvidia's Blackwell Ultra Cards

CoreWeave has successfully deployed ultra-powerful Nvidia Blackwell Ultra AI supercomputers as part of its cloud service offerings.

CoreWeave has recently expanded its cloud AI services with the deployment of formidable AI supercomputers equipped with Nvidia’s latest Blackwell Ultra GPUs. These installations were executed in collaboration with Dell, who provided integrated racks that were preassembled, allowing for a smooth setup process at CoreWeave’s data center.

The innovative racks consist of 72 Blackwell Ultra cards, each containing 36 Arm-based 72-core Grace CPUs and 36 BlueField DPUs, alongside sophisticated liquid cooling systems to manage power efficiently. CoreWeave’s strategy aims for enhanced AI performance, promising substantial advances in processing speed and capacity compared to its previous configurations.

“It reflects the trust our customers and partners continue to place in our expertise. By seamlessly engineering the compute, network, and storage under one roof, we empower our clients to progress at unprecedented speed and scale,” said a representative from Dell.

With these upgrades, CoreWeave anticipates 50% higher performance capabilities, indicating a significant leap in their capacity to train large language models. The system is also reported to operate at impressive speeds, leading to optimizations in AI reasoning and processing interfaces.
