Peak Developers Embrace Modders: Welcome to Unlimited Lobby Size

Peak's devs acknowledge modders as allies and address the four-player limit issue enthusiastically.

Peak offers a unique co-op gaming experience, and modders are now welcomed rather than viewed as adversaries. The game traditionally had a four-player limit, but modders quickly created a solution through the PeakUnlimited mod, allowing more players to join the fun. This enhancement helps food supply challenges in-game while engaging more players. Developers from Landfall and AggroCrab showed support for this mod by addressing bugs related to it in their patches.

“The end screen will no longer break hopefully in modded lobbies of greater than 4 players. Hi modders <3,” read the latest patch notes, acknowledging this modded gameplay approach. In contrast to past practices where even modded content could face restrictions, the current developers embrace modding communities and express their interest in facilitating a wider range of gameplay experiences.
