
Holdfast: Nations at War will debut on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S on July 9. This historical multiplayer shooter has gained traction among PC gamers, maintaining a “Very Positive” rating on Steam.
The game stands out in the historical shooter genre, incorporating settings from both the Napoleonic Era and World War I. Players can engage in large-scale battles featuring up to 150 participants, delivering an immersive experience replicating historical chaos.
What to Expect from Holdfast: Nations at War on Console:
This title offers players various historical factions, giving them the opportunity to engage in combat on land and sea. With over 27 classes, 8 factions, and 70 maps available, customization options abound with more than 100 unlockables, including emotes, weapons, backpacks, and headgear. Notably, crossplay functionality will unite users on Xbox, PlayStation, and PC.
Console players can select from four editions of the game: 1) Standard Edition with base game and Frontlines WW1 DLC, 2) Napoleonic Edition which includes the soundtrack, upgrade, and cosmetic packs, 3) Great War Edition which swaps the Napoleonic for a Great War Pack, and 4) Collector Edition with both packs and all available extras.
Meanwhile, PC gamers can take advantage of a Steam sale—offering the game for just $4.99 until July 10, down from $19.99, allowing newcomers to join in on the action.
