Summer Games Done Quick 2025 Kicks Off a Week of Charity Speedruns
The charity event Summer Games Done Quick (SGDQ) is underway, aiming to raise funds for Doctors Without Borders with exciting speedruns and fun segments.
Summer Games Done Quick (SGDQ) 2025 has officially kicked off, featuring numerous speedruns and humorous skits aimed at raising money for Doctors Without Borders.
For those unfamiliar, Games Done Quick (GDQ) is an annual charity event in which gamers gather in a convention center to stream gameplay for an audience, this time being held in Minneapolis. This event blends impressive gaming skills and entertainment. For instance, last year, a dog named Peanut Butter completed a game of Ken Griffey Jr. Presents Major League Baseball.
SGDQ 2025 runs from July 7 to July 13, 6:50 am BST / July 12, 10:50 pm PDT. At the moment, over $124,000 has been raised for Doctors Without Borders since the event’s start. You can explore the full schedule here.
Fans can tune in live on Twitch to catch all the action and recaps of the best moments from this week-long event.
