After three years of continuous updates, Mount and Blade 2: Bannerlord is gearing up to release its first major DLC expansion, War Sails, later this year. Since the game’s launch in 2022, which followed two years of early access, players have enjoyed a vast sandbox centered around medieval warfare, kingdom-building, and RPG storytelling, with action focused solely on land.
