Lost Animaniacs Game Prototype Found 22 Years Later, Playable Now

A long-gone prototype of an Animaniacs game has resurfaced, and players can now experience it.

A nearly complete prototype of Animaniacs: Hollywood Hypnotics has been discovered by the Hidden Palace preservation group. This long-lost game, created based on the beloved 90s animated series, was in development for the Game Boy Advance from 2000 to 2003 but was never released. Players can now download and experience the prototype, which is playable through any Game Boy Advance emulator.

The game is structured similarly to the Dizzy adventure series, where players solve puzzles and interact with various characters, culminating in encounters with Pinky and the Brain. Though unfinished, the build is playable and offers a nostalgic experience for fans of the show.

You can find more details or download the game from Hidden Palace’s website. This remarkable find sheds light on game preservation efforts and the enduring legacy of Animaniacs.
